Edifice of a Decadent Past

My little brother and I used to walk this boardwalk when we were younger. We would just walk, and talk about things. The boardwalk has fallen into such a state of disrepair, you cannot even think about walking on it without having the chance of falling in. Over your life have you seen anything fall into such a slump?

I didn't dare try to get onto that boardwalk, because... well, look at it... (I just walked onto a fallen tree ) and took my picture. I've been thinking about this picture for about a month now, and I've finally been able to put it into my camera and shoot it.
