Jack is a "normal" kid.  He's 17, drinks a cup of coffee every morning, and eats 3 meals a day.  But, he's a shy kid.  He's to afraid to ask this one girl out, even though he knows she'll say yes.  He's never been very smooth around girls, but it's not like he has a problem around them either.  He's just a regular kid, leading on a regular life.

But today, March 26, he knew when he woke up that today was the day he was going to die.  It was just one of those feelings.  So, after his alarm went off, and after he hit the snooze 3 times he got up.  He walked over to his percolator and turned it on; he only uses one pot of coffee per week to save some money.  After his shower (he takes one every morning) he got dressed.  He put on his Old Navy jeans (his favorite pair) and an Aeropostale shirt.  It wasn't a fancy shirt, just a faded navy blue long sleeve that had "Aeropostale" written on the front in big white letters.  As he was getting dressed, he realized that there was a massive thunderstorm outside.  Jack loves thunderstorms.

And so began the walk to school....
